All you need to know about connecting to Pulsechain Testnet V2b with Metamask

The Pulsechain Testnet v2b is a sandbox environment for developers and users to test and experiment with their dApps. In this article, we will go over the steps to connect to Pulsechain Testnet v2b.


In this guide ill be using Metamask as an example defi wallet. Learn more about metamask HERE(create link later)


Step 1: Install Metamask Wallet

The first step in connecting to Pulsechain Testnet v2b is to have a defi wallet. You can download the wallet from the Metamask.io official website. Im using Google Chrome in this guide. See my other guide on how to install Metamask on Google Chrome.(create link here)


Step 2: Once installed, open the wallet and create a new a wallet. You will be asked to back up your seed phrase and create a password. Make sure to store your seed phrase in a safe place, as it is the only way to recover your account if you forget your password. I recommend writing it down and never storing it online. Not your keys, not your crypto.


Step 3: Connect to the Pulsechain Testnet v2b

After creating your account, you need to connect to the Pulsechain Testnet v2b. To do this, go to "Settings" and click on the "Network" tab then click Add Network button.

At the bottome click "Add a network manually".

Pulsechain uses its own cryptocurrency, called PLS, to run transactions on the network. In order to test your dApps on the Pulsechain Testnet v2b, you will need to obtain some testnet tPLS. You can get testnet tPLS from the Pulsechain faucet, which is available on the Pulsechain.com official website.


Step 5: Start Building and Testing Your dApps

Now that you have testnet tPLS in your Pulsechain wallet, you can start building and testing your dApps on the Pulsechain Testnet v2b. You can use the wallet to deploy your dApps and test their functionality.
